What Happens When I Use a Product Feature That Is Moved to a Different Product?
Occasionally, a popular feature from one product may be separated to form a new standalone product. Conversely, features from a product that did not gain sufficient traction might be merged into a larger product but still remain accessible.
To ensure continued access to these features and receive the latest updates, we allow active subscribers of the original product to use the new product’s releases until their subscription expires (valid only for versions released up to 12 months from the migration date).
Getting started with the new product is easy: your existing license file will work with the new product. Simply visit the downloads section to download the product and apply your current license as usual.
If your subscription has expired, your existing license will not be valid, and you will need to purchase a new license for the new product.
- If the product has been merged into another, you will be prompted to renew your subscription for the new product. You will still receive the same renewal discount as a regular renewal.
- If a feature set has been split into a new product, you may need to renew your existing subscription and purchase a license for the new product:
- If you require features from both the original and new product, add the new product to your cart and renew your original subscription.
- If you only need features from one of the products, you can choose to renew just the product you need.
