When you invest in a product, it’s crucial to have reliable support if something goes wrong. But what happens if the company behind the product goes out of business? For an annual fee, our Software Escrow service provides an additional layer of security and peace of mind. We deposit the source code for the products you purchase with a trusted third party. If Documentize ceases operations, this third party releases the source code to you, ensuring you can continue developing and maintaining the product.
Our trusted partner for software escrow is NCC Group Security Services, Inc., a global industry leader that manages thousands of escrow accounts.
Documentize escrow ensures that you have access to the source code of a Documentize product (or product suite) in the event of insolvency. Note that this service does not cover defects or provide defect remediation.
Does Documentize Sell Source Code?
No, we do not sell the source code for our products. However, we do offer software escrow services. All subscription plans include free access to new releases and hot fixes for one year.
How to Purchase?
Software Escrow can be added to any SDK purchase for an additional annual fee. If your order includes a qualifying SDK product, you will have the option to purchase Escrow on the Shopping Cart screen.
